What to do if you have lost your pet
- Complete a Lost Report. Your lost report will be kept on file and you will be contacted if an animal comes in matching your pets description.
- Visit the Lloydminster and District SPCA to check if your pet has been brought to the shelter
- Contact all SPCAs, Humane Societies, Community Offices in your immediate area to file a lost pet report
- Contact your local veterinarian clinics
- Search your neighborhood, post fliers, and place a classified advertisement in your local paper
- If your pet has a microchip, contact the microchip company and report that your pet is missing
- Place a missing report on Helping Lost Pets a Lost and Found Website.
- If you believe your pet has been stolen, file a report with your local police department

- Complete a Found Report. Your found report will be kept on file and matched with any lost reports that have been submitted.
- Check your neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes the pet
- Place a found report on Helping Lost Pets a Lost and Found Website.
- If you have found an animal in the City of Lloydminster, contact Bylaw Services at 780-874-3710 to pick up the pet. If you have found an animal outside the city, contact your local community office for further assistance or
- Call the Lloydminster and District SPCA to book an appointment to bring the pet in to the shelter. Here it will be cared for while we attempt to locate the owner
