If you have found a stray animal, click here for Lost and Found Information.

If you are considering surrendering your own pet, please read the following information.

The Lloydminster and District SPCA requires an appointment for all animal admissions this helps ensure we can provide you and your pet the best service. Admission fees will be charged for all owner admission animals. Select here for our Admission Fees. The Lloydminster and District SPCA does accept aggressive animals. However, if your pet has bitten a person with puncture, it must be reported to either Alberta Health Services or Saskatchewan Ministry of Health, regardless of vaccine history. Your pet must also be quarantined for 10 days, following the most recent bite. The Lloydminster and District SPCA is not a boarding facility and therefore cannot accept a pet that has bitten, until the quarantine period has expired.

The Lloydminster and District SPCA is an Open Admissions shelter. However, due to the volume of animals admitted to our shelter though the year, space and resources can become limited or unavailable at any given time.  During these periods, the shelter may be unable to accept your pet. Before admitting your animal, please contact the SPCA at 780-875-2809, to book your appointment today.
